Students were asked to build a form that interacted with a specific site in their homes. I chose to build a form that clung onto my heater because of its unique angled shape. First I measured and created a basic shape out of bristol paper that fit onto my heater. We were then asked to make modifications to the forms by removing spaces to create negative areas or making additions. I cut my form in half on the lower portion, rotated it 90 degrees, and added some triangular forms. By the end of the project, the form was meant to look abstract and was not supposed to fit back into our chosen sites. After submitting the assignment, I altered the form even more on my own by spray painting the whole form white and adding linear elements.
