For this piece, I wanted to take a different approach and make a conceptual architectural model out of non-traditional building materials like slinky toys and string. I experimented with the slinky by stretching, rotating, and manipulating them in different ways to decide which form I should move forward with. I overlapped two slinkys, added string and different rounded forms to support the weight and ensure they wouldn’t fall out of place. The end result was a playful and unconventional structure that could be the blueprint of a museum.
